Makensie Moore, DVM
Dr. Makensie Moore is a 2012 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she moved to Texas where she completed an internship at a well known equine exclusive referral practice, Elgin Veterinary Hospital. She is happy to be back in her hometown of Haughton and working with her father, Dr. Eddie Moore. She loves the equine industry and is interested in all aspects of equine practice particularly emergency, dentistry, internal medicine, reproduction, and lameness. She also enjoys working on local farm and show animals. When she isn’t working, she enjoys riding her horses, spending time with her family.
